Skyblocs is a game created for the fourth Casual Gameplay Design Competition ran by Jay Is Games.

The idea came for the game, after rediscovering one of my favourite childhood games, a game called 'Pushover'. When a chance to enter a competition which required ball physics, the ideas for the game all fell into place quickly and I began work on the engine behind it.

The game took just under 2 months to create from scratch, including the graphics and the levels. On that front, two friends of mine, Barb and Adam, both did amazing work to help create the levels in the game while I was trying to remove the bugs that the new levels occasionally threw up! Without them, the game would never have been finished on time!
Thanks also go to my friends who I annoyed senseless with constant requests to bug test my game, or judge level ideas. Particular thanks need to go to, David, Genna and Scott for their work helping with ideas and bug testing.
